On September 25, an extended meeting of the Administration and Trade Union Committee of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” was held to review the implementation of the Collective Agreement in the first half of 2026.
As Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of NNEGC “Energoatom” Serhii Snitkov noted, people are the Company’s greatest asset. “We systematically invest in the health of our personnel: we upgrade medical equipment at preventive healthcare facilities and develop sports and rehabilitation infrastructure. It is particularly important to create appropriate conditions for the recovery of veterans and those returning to the workforce after military service,” he said.
During the meeting, Acting CEO of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” Oleksandr Ostapovets emphasized that fulfilling social commitments and caring for personnel are an important part of the Company’s steady operation.
“The Collective Agreement provides concrete guarantees and support for our employees and their families. It is a matter of trust, social responsibility, and preserving our most important resource – our professional workforce. We ensure that the commitments we have undertaken are fulfilled, support our employees, and create conditions in which people can work safely, develop professionally, and feel confident about the future,” Oleksandr Ostapovets said.
He also emphasized the safety of personnel and their families, which remains an absolute priority amid systematic enemy attacks.
In the first six months of 2026, the vast majority of the 229 provisions of the Collective Agreement were fully implemented, Executive Director for Human Resources Bohdan Shmyhelskyi reported.
“We are developing programs that address the current needs of our employees and veterans. Key areas of our social policy include programs for the reintegration and adaptation of veterans, psychosocial support for personnel, medical rehabilitation, and the modernization of preventive healthcare facilities. Work also continues to improve access to housing, ensure barrier-free social infrastructure, and train employees in first aid skills,” Bohdan Shmyhelskyi said.
Support for the Defense Forces of Ukraine remains a separate area of focus. Energoatom and its workforce continue to provide Ukrainian defenders with essential equipment, vehicles, and other resources.
Following the meeting, the Collective Agreement for the first half of 2026 was recognized as fulfilled.
