The Supervisory Board of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” has temporarily assigned the duties of a
Management Board Member to Ihor Kurinnyi. The relevant decision was adopted on September 23, 2026 (Protocol No. 39).
Ihor Kurinnyi has more than 30 years of professional experience in the nuclear sector. In 1994, he graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Nuclear Power Plants and Installations, obtaining the qualification of thermal power engineer-physicist. That same year, he started working at the Rivne NPP, where he progressed from an engineer to a manager responsible for key operational and technical areas.
He began his career in Instrumentation and Control Department.He worked as Department Shift Supervisor, spent ten years as Unit Shift Supervisor in the operational management group for Units 3 and 4, and another six years as Plant Shift Supervisor in Chief Dispatcher Service.
Since 2022, Ihor Kurinnyi served as RNPP Deputy Chief Engineer for Technology and Engineering. In 2024, he was appointed Chief Engineer – First Deputy Director General of the Rivne NPP.
Prior to being elected as a Member of Energoatom’sManagement Board, Ihor Kurinnyi served as Acting Managing Technical Director of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”.
In his new position, he will continue working to ensure the reliable and safe operation of nuclear generation, developing Energoatom’s technical capabilities, and strengthening Ukraine’s energy security.
The professional expertise of Ihor Kurinnyi covers power unit operation, operational management, technology and engineering, as well as the management of NPP technical activities.
