JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” received an award for being the largest corporate online team at the 2026 PrivatBank Kyiv Marathon of Invincibility. A total of 820 Company employees and their family members took part in the event, completing their chosen distances in various parts of Ukraine.

The award, recognizing Energoatom’s leadership in the number of participants, was accepted by Serhii Snitkov, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of NNEGC “Energoatom”, and Mykhailo Huk, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the Khmelnytskyi NPP.

This year, due to the challenging security situation, Energoatom employees participated in the race virtually. Nevertheless, this did not prevent them from demonstrating unity, upholding a sporting tradition, and becoming part of a major charitable initiative.

Participants completed distances of 1.6 km, 5 km, 10 km, a half marathon (21.1 km), and a full marathon (42.2 km). The youngest members of Energoatom families also joined the event, with children competing in 300 m, 500 m, and 1 km races.

Every step served a charitable purpose: the organizers will donate 50% of the event’s profits to support Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces.

This marks Energoatom’s second major award this year for its large-scale corporate participation in running events. Earlier, the Company team was recognized as the largest in-person team at the 2026 Recruit’s Race of Honor. A total of 562 Energoatom participants took part in the charity race to honor the memory of Ukraine’s fallen defenders and support the military who continue to defend the country. Energoatom served as the event’s conceptual partner.

Cooperation of Energoatom with Run Ukraine, the running community that organizes these events, has continued for 10 years. During this time, joint initiatives have become an important part of the Company’s corporate culture, helping to promote sports, strengthen team spirit, and support charitable projects.

For nuclear employees, participating in such events is about more than just sports. It is an opportunity to unite around shared values, support Ukraine’s defenders, and demonstrate that the strength of a team lies in its commitment to making a difference and its willingness to act together.
