The 70th regular session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) opened in Vienna on September 14 and will run through September 18. Representatives of more than 180 IAEA Member States are taking part in the conference.
Pavlo Kovtoniuk, Acting CEO of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, has joined the Ukrainian delegation.
Within the framework of the General Conference, the Energoatom CEO will hold a series of bilateral meetings, including with the IAEA Director General, representatives of international nuclear industry companies, and delegations from Ukraine’s partner countries.
Key topics for discussion will include strengthening Ukraine’s nuclear safety and energy security, further development of nuclear power generation, international support for the industry, and the implementation of joint international projects.
