Full composition of Energoatom Supervisory Board approved

On January 28, the Nomination Committee completed the selection of state representatives for the new composition of the Supervisory Board of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”.

The following state representatives have been appointed as members of the Supervisory Board:

Vitaliy Kindrativ, an experienced public sector manager with over 20 years of experience in management positions. The current Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, with deep expertise in strategic planning, international cooperation and implementation of integrated national projects;

Serhii Sukhomlyn, Head of the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, an experienced manager with over 35 years of professional experience and 15 years of experience in the civil service, the former mayor of Zhytomyr (2015–2024);

Maksym Malashkin, a senior state official of the 2nd rank with over 20 years of professional experience, including 15 years of experience in senior government positions. He worked as State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development, as well as a manager of the State Inspectorate for Energy Supervision of Ukraine.

Previously, the Nomination Committee unanimously approved independent members of the Supervisory Board, professional international experts with extensive experience in senior positions in the field of corporate governance:

 

Rumina Velshi, an internationally recognized leader in nuclear energy policy, regulation, and innovation. Over 40 years of experience in the nuclear energy sector. Former President and CEO of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Canada’s independent nuclear regulator as well as the former Chair of the IAEA’s Commission of Safety Standards;

Laura Garbenčiūtė-Bakienė, a finance, audit, and risk management expert with over 25 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. She has held leadership roles at PwC (USA, Ukraine) and currently holds oversight roles in Lithuania, focusing on audit, governance, and risk management matters at strategic state-owned entities, including Altra (Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant);

Patrick Fragman, an engineer and international manager in the nuclear and energy sector with over 30 years of experience in Alstom and ABB companies. Former President and CEO of Westinghouse Electric Company;

Brice Bohuon, a former member of the French Administrative Supreme Court, specialist in energy regulation and corporate governance. He held senior positions at EDF International and EDF Energy, responsible for legal, compliance and regulatory functions; previously worked at the French Council of State and the Energy Regulatory Commission.
