During a briefing on May 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi emphasized that the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant could operate only under the control of Ukraine, and its maintenance and restoration would be possible exclusively through the efforts of Ukrainian specialists.
“The plant is ours. Therefore, indeed, we want to return it. Without us, it will not be in operation for anyone, without our staff; it is impossible without us supporting the operation of this plant,” Head of State said.
