In the first quarter of 2026, Energoatom paid over UAH 78.3 billion for PSO service

The company continues to bear the key financial burden within the public service obligation (PSO) mechanism that supports social electricity tariffs. Thanks to the contributions of Energoatom, the country is able to maintain the electricity prices for millions of Ukrainian households at a level below market rates.

In the first quarter of 2026, the company paid UAH 78 billion 394 million (VAT included) for the PSO service.

Overall, during the years of russia's war against Ukraine – from 2022 to 2025 – Energoatom contributed more than UAH 528.9 billion (VAT included) for the PSO mechanism, in particular:

   • 2022 – UAH 79 billion 178 million;
   • 2023 – UAH 127 billion 993 million;
   • 2024 – UAH 153 billion 184 million;
   • 2025 – UAH 168 billion 546 million.
