For the first four months of 2026, Energoatom has paid nearly UAH 100 billion for the public service obligation (PSO)

The Company continues to bear the key financial burden in the system supporting the social electricity tariff. Owing to NNEGC contributions, the state is able to maintain electricity prices for millions of Ukrainian households at a level below market rates.

For the first four months of 2026, the Company has paid UAH 99.894 billion (VAT included) for PSO. There is no outstanding debt for PSO to JSC “Guaranteed Buyer”.

Overall, for the years of russia’s war against Ukraine, from 2022 to 2025, Energoatom has paid more than UAH 528.9 billion (VAT included) for the PSO mechanism, in particular:

  • 2022 – UAH 79.178 billion;
  • 2023 – UAH 127.993 billion;
  • 2024 – UAH 153.184 billion;
  • 2025 – UAH 168.546 billion.
