Taking into account the advance payments made in December 2025, JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” has covered 100% of the actual cost of the PSO service in January and the forecast cost for February 2026, having paid a total of UAH 51.1 billion (VAT included).
The company continues to bear the primary financial burden within the social tariff support system. Thanks to NNEGC contributions, the state is able to maintain electricity tariff for millions of Ukrainian households at a level below the market rate.
Overall, from 2022 to 2025, during russia’s war against Ukraine, Energoatom has paid over UAH 528.9 billion for the PSO service.
In particular:
- in 2022 – UAH 79 billion 178.3 million
- in 2023 – UAH 127 billion 993.5 million
- in 2024 – UAH 153 billion 183.5 million
- in 2025 – UAH 168 billion 545.7 million
