On June 15, representatives of the “Kozats’kyi” branch of the “Guards of Light” NGO delivered two ATVs to soldiers of the “Artan” unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The nuclear power plant volunteers provided the vehicles in response to a request.
Weather conditions and challenging terrain often render standard vehicles ineffective. Therefore, as the defenders themselves say, they need specialized equipment, particularly ATVs. Due to their off-road capabilities, they are indispensable for organizing logistics and urgent evacuations from the most flashpoint areas of the front line.
The warriors sincerely thanked the Energoatom team for their assistance: “Knowing that we have strong support behind us, we are capable of carrying out any task.”
Natalia Orlenko, head of the “Kozats’kyi” unit—which includes employees of the Zaporizhzhia NPP—explains that the dream of returning to Ukrainian Enerhodar and to their home plant as soon as possible gives the team the strength to tirelessly assist the Ukrainian Defense Forces for as long as necessary.
As a reminder, the “Kozats’kyi” unit—a separate division of the “Guards of Light” NGO—was established in September 2025. Over the course of nine months, the team of volunteer nuclear power plant workers has processed 39 requests for assistance from military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine, as well as 24 individual requests from defenders.
