On February 25, the management of the Education Administration of the Shevchenkivskyi District State Administration in Kyiv, along with directors of 20 secondary education institutions, visited the Energoatom office. The meeting organized by Directorate for Corporate Communications, aimed to demonstrate potential opportunities for cooperation with schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums.
For Energoatom, communication and engagement with children is one of the top priorities. The company has been conducting educational lectures for schoolchildren of all ages for many years. Therefore, the meeting and dialogue with educators are significant for deepening the partnership aimed at popularizing engineering and technical specialties, promoting the professional orientation for students of general secondary education institutions, and motivating them to enroll in specialized higher education institutions.
The parties discussed a wide range of topics – from theoretical exchange of information and experience between institutions to the practical implementation of acquired knowledge and skills withinthe educational process.
Specialists from Directorate for Corporate Communications spoke about various competitions and promotions for schoolchildren, designed to give them an opportunity to showcase their talents, win valuable prizes and learn more about nuclear energy. They also demonstrated the operation of dosimeters, VR glasses, and introduced participants to various equipment models.
