Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk made this statement on the national telethon “Yedyni Novyny” (United News). According to her, Ukrainian teams are working with partners from the US and Sweden to replace russian nuclear fuel used in European nuclear power plants.
“European countries are actively working with us to ensure that not only Ukraine, but also those European countries that still use russian fuel, gradually switch to Western fuel manufactured by Westinghouse. Our Ukrainian nuclear power professionals deserve great credit for managing to produce it in such a short time,” Svitlana Grynchuk emphasized.
