Dear colleagues! Dear Energoatom family!
This year, our company celebrates its 30th anniversary. Three decades of dedicated work, responsible decisions, and the development of Ukraine’s nuclear industry.
The scale of our work is best demonstrated by our achievements. Over these years, Ukrainian nuclear power plants have generated more than 2.3 trillion kilowatt-hours of electricity. Since 2016, the Company has paid over UAH 237 billion in taxes and contributions, and since 2021, it has allocated more than UAH 720 billion to keeping electricity affordable for households through the Public Service Obligation (PSO) mechanism.
Behind these operational figures and financial commitments lies something much more important: lights on in people’s homes, businesses operating, resources for economic development and a contribution to the resilience of our country.
The war has changed everything, but it has not broken us. Despite constant threats, the occupation of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, and enemy attacks on infrastructure, we continue to hold the energy front. Energoatom has been and remains a pillar of Ukraine’s energy security. Our support for the Defense Forces has already exceeded UAH 24 billion, and every day we continue working for Victory every day.
At the same time, we must look beyond today’s challenges. Our task is not simply to preserve the potential of Ukraine’s nuclear industry, but to lay the foundation for its further development. A new chapter lies ahead. Our priorities are to build new nuclear power units, introduce modern technologies, and strengthen our engineering capabilities. This is how we are shaping the future of the industry for decades to come.
Nevertheless, Energoatom’s greatest strength is its people.
I express my heartfelt gratitude to the veterans of the nuclear industry for the strong foundation they have laid and their invaluable experience.
I am grateful to every employee who reports for duty each day and helps maintain the resilience of Ukraine’s power system. I extend my deepest respect and gratitude to our colleagues who are defending Ukraine on the front lines.
And a special message to our young professionals: it is you who will carry our work forward and continue developing Ukraine’s nuclear industry.
Thirty years represent the collective efforts of generations. The experience of the past, the strength forged through today’s challenges, and the energy of our future!
