President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with representatives of the power industry, during which he expressed gratitude for their dedicated work and presented them with state awards.
For a significant contribution to the development and maintenance of the energy complex under martial law, personal courage and dedication demonstrated in eliminating the consequences of accidents at energy infrastructure facilities, and conscientious performance of professional duties, the specialists of NNEGC “Energoatom” received awards.
The Order of Princess Olha of 3rd degree was awarded to the equipment operator of the Khmelnytskyi NPP workshop Mariia Novak, and the medal “For Labor and Dignity” was awarded to the foreman of the South Ukrainian NPP section Pavlo Kyba.
The respective Decree No. 238/2025 was published on the official website of Head of State.
According to resident of Ukraine, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians were working to prevent the loss of power industry in our country.
“This is an extremely important achievement of the people of Ukraine. Many people who protect energy facilities, restore them after attacks, perform repairs – and even under shelling – build what is needed for protection, ensure the operation of power plants and grids – of our entire power sector,” Volodymyr Zelenskyi said.
