Energoatom continues to implement its human resources preservation program, which provides for the continuous training of qualified and licensed employees of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP, according to Pavlo Kovtonyuk, head of NNEGC.
He states that the company is relying on the Zaporizhzhia NPP specialists who have relocated to territory controlled by Ukraine, as their expertise will form the foundation for the future construction of new nuclear units.
Andrii Koziura, KhNPP Director General, reports that more than 1,000 specialists from Energodar work at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant. Approximately 250 specialists are employed directly at the plant site, while over 850 are involved in repair and restoration work at Units 3 and 4 of the Khmelnytskyi NPP.
The first phase of modular housing, designed for 52 residents, has already been put into operation to accommodate personnel. Throughout the year, the company plans to build additional houses for more than 300 employees.
In addition, Energoatom provides monthly housing rent compensation (UAH 20,000), and the company has increased the salaries of ZNPP specialists by 10% since the beginning of the year.
