During a working visit by Head of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” Petro Kotin to the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant, the emphasis was made on preparing power units for operation during the autumn and winter period.
Head of NNEGC accentuated that Energoatom’s key mission remained unchanged: to prepare its own generating capacities for operation at maximum during the peak load hours.
In order to accomplish this, the Company specialists perform scheduled outages, including refueling, in the warm season. This technological process is the basis for the safe and reliable operation of power units.
“49 years ago, on August 8, 1976, the first cube of concrete for Unit 1 of the future plant was laid at the Rivne NPP, which is the heart of the domestic nuclear power industry. The success of Energoatom is due in no small way to the professional and responsible activities you have been doing every day at this site for almost five decades,” Petro Kotin addressed the Rivne NPP staff during the operational meeting.
Head of NNEGC expressed gratitude to the nuclear employees for their quick quality job on returning the power units to grid.
“The team is carrying out repairs quickly, without loss of quality. This is the result of the nuclear employees’ professional approach to their work,” Acting CEO of Energoatom stressed.
In addition, Head of NNEGC met with the Rivne NPP staff and recognized the best employees of the plant for their significant contribution to the development of the Сompany.
