The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NERC) has completes its analysis of the behavior of participants in the electricity sale auction of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, which took place on January 14, 2026, on the platform of LLC “Ukrainian Energy Exchange”.
Based on the results of the review, no signs of unlawful use of insider information were detected.
In addition to this, the Secretariat of the Energy Community provided the NERC with expert and advisory support during the analysis of the market situation. In particular, the conclusions state that the evaluation results of trading volumes and participant behavior do not indicate the presence of coordinated or pre-arranged actions.
Therefore, the conclusions of the Ukrainian regulator have been confirmed with the involvement of European expertise and the participation of international partners. This enhances trust in the transparency of the auction and the compliance of procedures with European standards for the energy market functioning.
