The Supervisory Board of Energoatom today held a working meeting with members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, including representatives of the Special Parliamentary Investigative Commission examining governance and anti-corruption matters related to Energoatom: Mr. Yaroslav Zhelezniak, Ms. Anastasiya Radina, Mr. Maksym Khlapuk, Mr. Andriy Gerus and Mr. Oleksii Movchan.
The discussion focused on the ongoing transformation of Energoatom, strengthening corporate governance, management reform, and further measures aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and operational resilience within the company.
During the meeting, members of parliament and Supervisory Board representatives exchanged views on the current status of governance reforms, the process for strengthening the company’s management structure, and the importance of ensuring the highest standards of integrity and professionalism across Energoatom’s operations.
The Supervisory Board reaffirmed its commitment to acting promptly and decisively on any substantiated allegations of misconduct and emphasized that all relevant matters are treated with utmost seriousness and in accordance with applicable legal and corporate governance procedures.
Participants also discussed the ongoing process related to the future appointment of permanent management board members, including the importance of conducting a transparent and professional selection process consistent with international best practices and the specific requirements applicable to the nuclear sector.
The meeting was held in a respectful, open, and constructive atmosphere. Both the members of parliament and the Supervisory Board emphasized the importance of continued cooperation, regular exchange of information, and support for the long-term transformation and governance reform of Energoatom.
