The Supervisory Board of JSC “NNEGC Energoatom” announces that Brice Bohuon has decided to step down from his position before the expire of his term. He joined Energoatom’s independent Supervisory Board following a competitive selection process as a highly experienced executive, lawyer, and public governance expert with extensive expertise in the fields of energy, regulation, infrastructure, and corporate governance.
This decision is driven by the significant operational workload associated with the current stage of the company’s activities and the intensity of the Supervisory Board’s work, particularly in relation to the assessment of the company’s financial position, the review of its investment programme, and the implementation of measures aimed at modernising the company’s strategic development approach, strengthening corporate governance systems, and supporting management team renewal. Taken together, these processes require a substantial level of engagement and regular in-person participation from Supervisory Board members.
The Supervisory Board respects this decision and expresses its gratitude to Brice Bohuon for his professional contribution and dedicated work in support of the development of JSC “NNEGC Energoatom”.
Both Supervisory Board members who submitted their resignation letters continue to perform their duties in full until the established transition procedure is completed. The work of the Supervisory Board and the company continues as usual, with the implementation of defined priorities and ongoing management processes ensured without interruption.
A new Supervisory Board member will be selected from among the participants of the previous competitive selection process, which will allow the appointment to be made promptly without launching a full new competition cycle.
Currently, all seven members of the Supervisory Board, including Patrick Fragman and Brice Bohuon, who have submitted their resignations, remain actively engaged in addressing the company’s immediate priorities: selecting an executive search firm to identify the new Management Board of Energoatom; selecting a firm to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the company’s governance system; and implementing other priority workstreams.
