There is a fire hazard again at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP – this time near the power units of the plant. According to available information, dry reed grass is burning at the site of the Kakhovka reservoir destroyed by the russians.
The situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP remains tense due to the incompetent management of the plant by the fake russian leaders, which constantly violate the requirements of nuclear, radiation and fire safety.
This is evidenced by the constant fires at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which have become systemic.
As a reminder, on August 11, 2024, the cooling tower No. 1 of the plant service water supply system completely burned down on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. On July 19, 2025, smoke caused by a forest fire was recorded within the area of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
Another event directly poses a risk to nuclear, radiation and fire safety of the plant due to the proximity of the burning area to the critical infrastructure of the ZNPP.
Emergency Response Center of NNEGC “Energoatom” is monitoring the situation.
