Within the framework of his working trip to the Khmelnytskyi NPP, Acting CEO of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” Pavlo Kovtonyuk reviewed the progress of work on the arrangement of protective structures of the critical infrastructure of the plant site and held a production meeting with the staff.
During the meeting, Head of the Company heard the reports made by the Khmelnytskyi NPP employees on the repair campaign and preparation for the autumn and winter period. Pavlo Kovtonyuk commented that the activities were being performed according to the approved schedule, so Ukrainian NPPs were actively preparing for the heating season.
“Energoatom has traditionally taken a responsible approach to preparing its facilities for the most difficult task – operation in the autumn and winter period. Today, this emphasis is not only ours, but also that of the state leadership: the President of Ukraine paid special attention to the preparation for the winter period. This process begins with the Ministry of Energy and ends with the operator in the reactor compartment; it allows us to provide our state with electricity,” Head of NNEGC noted.
Head of the Company also awarded the employees of the Khmelnytskyi NPP, in particular, with the medal “For Labor and Victory” – a Presidential Honor, as well as honorary diplomas of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and departmental awards.
