RNPP held a meeting to prepare for the 2026 maintenance campaign

An operational meeting was held at the Rivne NPP, featuring Pavlo Kovtonyuk, Head of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom,” alongside plant management. The discussion focused on the upcoming planned maintenance of power units and the current state of the plant’s protective structures.

Energoatom Head inspected the protective facilities, noting that safety remains the top priority, particularly given today’s challenges.

During the meeting, Pavlo Kovtonyuk outlined the current situation in the energy market and listened to reports from RNPP managers regarding the condition of power units, planning and execution of repairs, and implementation of major construction projects. Special emphasis was placed on relationship with contractors, equipment suppliers, and workforce teams.

Participants outlined a number of key tasks aimed at ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the nuclear power plant.

“Stable and safe electricity production for the country’s needs remains Energoatom’s primary mission. Every affiliate must work toward a single, successful result,” emphasized Energoatom CEO Pavlo Kovtonyuk.

In turn, RNPP Director General Taras Tkach stressed, “The Rivne NPP team is doing everything in its power to ensure that tasks are completed on time, with high quality, and in full compliance with all safety culture requirements.”
