On August 17–18, specialists from the affiliate “SS “Emergency Technical Centre” of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” are conducting radiation reconnaissance drills at the South Ukraine NPP site using a mobile radiometric laboratory.
The objective is to train the personnel’s practical skills directly within the SUNPP sanitary protection zone and surveillance area.
The modern laboratory is equipped with a radiation monitoring system and a weather station.
Such drills are an important part of maintaining a high level of coordination and preparedness among the Company’s affiliate personnel for abnormal situations, as well as improving the emergency response system of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”.
