Energoatom continues its career guidance activities aimed at attracting young specialists to the company's enterprises. Bohdan Shmyhelskyi, Executive Director for Human Resources at JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom,” delivered a lecture to students of the State University of Trade and Economics.
The students learned about the specifics of working at Energoatom, the modern challenges facing Ukraine’s nuclear power industry during the full-scale war, and various opportunities for professional development. In particular, the discussion focused on attracting young specialists to the construction of new power units and the implementation of innovative personnel management systems.
“Attracting young people to employment at Energoatom enterprises is a priority vector of our personnel policy. We create all the necessary conditions for graduates to become part of large-scale projects at the very start of their careers,” said Bohdan Shmyhelskyi.
In addition, a meeting with the university management took place as part of the visit. The parties discussed prospects for further cooperation, specifically in training future specialists, organizing internships and practical placements for students, as well as joint educational and scientific initiatives.
First Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Nataliia Prytulska, emphasized that the State University of Trade and Economics systematically modernizes its educational programs in response to the requests of market leaders. She highlighted that the partnership with Energoatom allows the University to synchronize its theoretical base with the actual needs of the nuclear industry, providing specialists with a high-quality education and a deep understanding of the specifics of critical infrastructure operations.
