Pavlo Kovtonyuk, the head of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, Pavlo Yatsyuk, Chief of the “Omega” Special Forces Center, and Olena Donchuk, Head of Public Organization “Guards of Light”, have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The parties will join their forces to protect Ukraine and strengthen the defense capabilities of our country.
The militaries of the “Omega” Unit perform tasks in the hottest areas of the front line and participate in complex special operations. Expanding this cooperation will facilitate Energoatom’s prompt response to the unit’s needs, providing the armed forces staff with the required assistance.
As Pavlo Kovtonyuk emphasized, Ukrainian defenders resist enemy attacks every day, protect our country, and enable citizens in the rear to work, and critical infrastructure to operate under constant shelling. That is why Energoatom will support the military as much and as long as needed.
“Energoatom undertakes clear commitments to systematically support and strengthen the “Omega” Special Unit. We will direct our resources and capabilities to provide the military personnel with everything they require – from modern equipment and transport to technical means that save lives on the front line. Our common duty is to do everything so that those holding the front have an advantage over the enemy,” Pavlo Kovtonyuk noted.
The signed memorandum provides for supplying the special unit with the necessary equipment and technical means, as well as coordinating efforts to attract charitable aid to fund the needs of the military. In addition, the parties will implement joint educational and social initiatives.
“The logistical support, specialized machinery, and equipment to be received by us within the framework of this cooperation mean a real strengthening of combat capabilities on the front line. We express gratitude to Energoatom team for their statecraft and strong support for our military,” commented Pavlo Yatsyuk, Chief of the “Omega” Special Forces Center.
Members of Public Organization “Guards of Light” have been providing assistance for the “Omega” Special Forces since 2024, supplying them accoutrements, night vision devices, vehicles, quadcopters, EW systems, and other necessary equipment.
Such collaboration is a good example of synergy, where everyone works towards a common goal.
