JSC “NNEGC ”Energoatom" covered 100% of the PSO service costs for January-December 2025. During 2025, Energoatom paid UAH 168.546 billion (including VAT)*. This is UAH 15 billion more than a year earlier. In 2024, Energoatom paid UAH 153.184 billion (including VAT) for the PSO service.
Energoatom allocated UAH 17.969 billion for the planned PSO service in December 2025. The company continues to bear the key financial burden in the social tariff support system.
Due to these funds, the state was able to keep the electricity tariff for millions of Ukrainian families below market levels.
In the context of military challenges, PSO remains one of the most important tools for supporting the general public.
As a reminder, JSC “NNEGC ”Energoatom" covers about 85% of the financial burden required to fulfill service obligations to protect public interests.
*The information does not include the return of funds for the PSO service in the amount of UAH 2.3 bln from the SE “Guaranteed Buyer” during 2025.
