On October 14, the XXII International Specialized Exhibition “Energy in Industry” started. It is a key event of the year for the power sector of Ukraine. Energoatom traditionally took an active part in the event, presenting its own stand dedicated to the achievements and prospects for the development of Ukrainian nuclear industry.
Head of NNEGC, Pavlo Kovtonyuk, visited the exhibition – the Company’s stand, where key technologies and achievements of Energoatom were presented, as well as the exposition dedicated to the nuclear sector. According to him, nuclear energy today is the basis of the stability of the energy system: “Domestic nuclear power plants are a guarantee that there will be heat and light in the homes of Ukrainians. Despite the challenges of war, we keep on ensuring reliable and continuous operation of NPPs and develop the energy potential of the state.”
For three days, October 14–16, visitors to the exhibition can learn more about activities of Energoatom. In total, the Company’s stand is presented by all four nuclear power plants – Khmelnytskyi Rivne, South Ukraine, temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP, as well as separate subdivisions “Emergency Technical Center”, “Atomremontservice”, “Atomenergomash” and “Atomprojectengineering”. NNEGC specialists present modern solutions that ensure the stability of nuclear generation, and introduce guests into technological developments in the nuclear industry.
Moreover, the Energoatom stand has an interactive zone where visitors can take a virtual 3D tour of the nuclear power plant, test their knowledge of nuclear energy and learn more about the Company’s new projects using an information touch panel.
Energoatom’s partners, “Impulse” and “Radiy”, which cooperate with NNEGC to enhance the safety and efficiency of Ukrainian nuclear power plants, also presented their achievementsexhibits at the exhibition. Participation of Energoantom in the Exhibition “Energy in Industry” clearly demonstrates the Company’s leading role in the stable functioning of Ukraine’s power sector, as well as its significant contribution to the sustainable, safe and independent energy development of the state.
