Energoatom strengthens support for youth: Pavlo Kovtonyuk meets Spring School participants at the KhNPP

Within the framework of a working visit to the Khmalnytskyi NPP, Pavlo Kovtonyuk, the head of NNEGC “Energoatom”, took part in the events of the Spring School of the Youth Organization the Nuclear Trade Union, which is being held at the KhNPP from May 27 to 30.

The event brought together active young specialists of the energy sector from various affiliates and enterprises, striving to develop Ukraine’s nuclear sector and enhance professional cooperation. The participants worked in thematic groups, where they discussed the development of youth organizations, as well as necessary amendments to labour legislation to involve young specialists to work at nuclear enterprises.

Particular attention was paid to an open dialogue between the youth and the NNEGC management. Pavlo Kovtonyuk communicated with the participants in a “Living Library” format and joined a round table discussion dedicated to motivating young people to choose a career in nuclear field.

The head of Energoatom emphasized that attracting and supporting young specialists is one of the company’s key priorities, as it is the young generation will shape the future of Ukrainian nuclear industry. According to him, NNEGC is systematically working to establish conditions for professional development, social support, and career growth of young employees.

“We strive for every young specialist who comes to a production facility to see clear prospects for their professional and career development. Energoatom makes every effort to create the most comfortable starting conditions for young people. Our goal is to provide such incentives so that young professionals feel protected, motivated, and confident in their future,” Pavlo Kovtonyuk stressed.

At the end of the visit, the head of Energoatom also inspected social and cultural facilities in Netishyn, where the principles of barrier-free environment and physical accessibility for people with disabilities had been implemented.
