JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” continues its scheduled maintenance campaign at NPPs, preparing power units for steady operation during the upcoming autumn and winter period.
According to Pavlo Kovtonyuk, head of the company, the 2026 maintenance campaign will reach its equator as early as June.
“We are nearing the midpoint of scheduled outages and midlife repair operations. At the Khmelnytskyi and Rivne NPPs, some power units have been returned to service after repair; while at others, these works are ongoing or will commence according to the schedule. Active maintenance campaign is also going on at the South Ukraine NPP. Crucially, all works are being executed ahead of schedule: currently, scheduled outage activities are being completed four days faster than anticipated on average,” Pavlo Kovtonyuk commented.
The head of Energoatom expressed gratitude to the company employees for their professionalism and efficient work arrangement, which allows for a reduction in maintenance frames without compromising quality and safety level.
