The award ceremony for the winners and finalists of the “Energoatom Junior #EverythingWillBeUkraine” project began recently. Ten educatees of the Children's and Youth Activity Center, as well as students of general secondary education institutions of the Ivankiv territorial community, were the first to receive awards and congratulations from JSC “NNEGC ”Energoatom”.

“Energoatom supports small creative groups that will develop our country in the future and keep up its cultural traditions,” said Bohdan Shmyhelskyi, Executive Director of Human Resources at JSC “NNEGC ”Energoatom." He thanked the young contestants and teachers for their active participation in the creative project and their interest in nuclear energy. Teachers from the Children's and Youth Activity Center were  also awarded letters of appreciation for preparing the finalists.

One of the competition winners was Maksym Toropov, who compared coal-fired and nuclear power plants in a 3D animation, highlighting the key advantages of nuclear power industry.

“Nuclear power is a pretty amazing thing. It is very cheap and, if nuclear facilities are handled properly, it will not harm the environment,” he said.

Viktoria Dehtiar, head of the education department of the Ivankiv village council, expressed her gratitude to Energoatom for its comprehensive support of the Ivankiv territorial community: “We are proud of our children and sincerely grateful for the support of young talents and their teachers. Despite the difficult experiences that many have had to endure, these children have their own vision, inner strength, and desire to create.”

Energoatom will continue to support initiatives that help young people develop their talents and form a conscious vision of Ukraine's energy future.

As a reminder, this year, 287 entries were submitted to the Energoatom Junior #EverythingWillBeUkraine competition by children aged 9–17 from NPP satellite town, settlements within a 30-kilometer zone, the Ivankiv district, and various regions of Ukraine. The traditional Energoatom Junior #EverythingWillBeUkraine project aims to give children and teenagers the opportunity to use their creativity not only to express their patriotic civic position, but also to promote nuclear power industry among young people.
