As part of his working visit to South Ukraine NPP, Energoatom Acting CEO Petro Kotin held a production meeting to discuss the progress of the maintenance campaign, the Company's interim results for the first half of 2025, and the capacity expansion of Energoatom's branch Atomenergomash.
The head of NNEGC noted that the maintenance campaign is ongoing under the schedules approved by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
"We are fully fulfilling our obligations regarding the PSO service. We transfer funds from our profits on time, day to day. Furthermore, we are preparing our power units, refueling, and carrying out scheduled maintenance to operate at full capacity in the autumn and winter period," said Energoatom Acting CEO Petro Kotin.
He also added that the Company has a sufficient stock of nuclear fuel, as well as the necessary long-term contracts for conversion, uranium enrichment, and fuel supply to Ukraine. Moreover, NNEGC continues to work on the production of nuclear fuel components in Ukraine.
The head of Energoatom once again highlighted the crucial role of Ukrainian nuclear power professionals, as the personnel's competence and high qualification enable the reduction of the work time and return power units to operation faster.
Petro Kotin presented the Company's specialists with awards from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, certificates of honor from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and awards from Energoatom for their significant contribution to the development and maintenance of the energy sector under martial law, conscientious performance of professional duties, and high professionalism.
