Representatives of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, as part of the Ukrainian delegation, participated in a roundtable meeting with specialists of leading Ukrainian and Korean companies. The event took place in Seoul during the official visit of the Minister of the Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, to the Republic of Korea.
During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea, particularly in nuclear sector, were discussed.
Andrii Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine is interested in expanding cooperation in the nuclear field, especially regarding new generating capacities, safety enhancement and implementing innovative technologies.
The parties also reviewed opportunities for implementing joint projects that would contribute to the Ukrainian energy infrastructure and the strengthening of the Ukrainian-Korean partmnership.
Energoatom’s participation in such international events promotes deeper engagement with leading global companies, exchange of experience, and attracting new opportunities for implementation of projects aimed at developing Ukrainian nuclear sector.
