The Financial and Economic Activities Assessment Committee recognized Energoatom performance in 2024 as satisfactory

On March 14, the final meeting of the Financial and Economic Performance Assessment Committee headed by CEO of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” Petro Kotin was held; the Company performance results for the past year were considered there.

The members of the Committee heard reports of heads of all separate subdivisions of NNEGC and assessed their work as satisfactory.

Despite the challenges associated with russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Energoatom keeps on demonstrating efficient work according to all key indicators.

Therefore, in 2024, domestic nuclear power plants generated more than 50 billion kW⋅h of electricity. An increase up to UAH 207 bln in the net income of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” over the past year was noted. In addition, the Company paid 100% of the amount of residential tariff compensation for 2024 and repaid the debt for previous years in full and allocated more than UAH 30 bln to the state budget.

“Even with significant payments for the PSO service, which exceeded UAH 150 bln, Energoatom remains a profitable company. All the indicators increased compared to last year. Moreover, all power units in the controlled territory of Ukraine operated at full capacity, which was extremely important during the autumn and winter period. Therefore, the Committee gave a completely objective assessment of the performance of all subdivisions of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom,” Petro Kotin concluded.
