A Nissan Navara is bound for Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk sector, where it will support the defenders of the 15th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Volunteers handed over the vehicle to the military personnel from the NGO “Guardians of Light.”
This high-mobility vehicle will be used for defending the Ukrainian sky, transporting personnel, provisions, and equipment, as well as for carrying out other combat missions.
“A vehicle at the front is a consumable. It might enter and leave a position ten times, or it might enter once and never return,” shared a military of the 156th Brigade. He also expressed sincere gratitude to the members of the NGO “Guardians of Light” for their systematic support and wished for the quiet nights that the 15th Brigade and other units stand on guard every day.
For the most part, volunteers from JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” source vehicles abroad that meet the specific requirements of the military. They state that every effort is made to satisfy these needs as quickly as possible. Pickups, cargo and passenger minibuses, and SUVs are currently the most needed at the front.
“Finding a vehicle, preparing documents, delivering to Ukraine, conducting repairs at a service station, and the final handover to the military takes a month or more. It depends on the queue, as the number of requests is constantly growing because vehicles are critically needed at the front,” the Guardians of Light comment.
Today, the volunteer nuclear employees are simultaneously working on nine specific requests from the military, and this queue is being updated. At the same time, behind such request is not just a need for a vehicle, but someone’s life, a safe exit from a position, and the opportunity to complete a combat mission and return home alive.
