JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” is cooperating with law enforcement authorities in an investigation into alleged misconduct related to the implementation of legacy projects

On June 2, 2026, the National Anti-Сorruption Bureau of Ukraine announced the exposure of an alleged scheme involving the misappropriation of funds belonging to SE “NNEGC “Energoatom” while implementing the commercial deals for the constuction works completion of the Tashlyk Pumped-Storage Power Plant in the Mykolaiv region.

The circumstances referenced in the criminal proceedings pertain to a case initiated on November 23, 2022. Individuals who, according to the investigators, may have been involved in the alleged misconduct had already been dismissed from their positions on September 22, 2023.

Among the suspects named within the criminal investigation proceedings is an ex-Head of Department of the Affiliate “SS “Atomprojectengineering” of the SE “NNEGC “Energoatom”.
Energoatom is fully cooperating with law enforcement authorities in the course of the investigation. The company has provided all relevant documents and information and is cooperating with investigative actions at its facilities.
