On February 20, 2001, the strategic enterprise of Ukraine’s nuclear industry – SS “Atomremontservice” – was established. Over the past years, the affiliate has become an integral component of the stable and reliable operation of the national nuclear energy sector.
A quarter century represents a history of highly complex and technically demanding tasks successfully implemented to meet the needs of domestic power units. Without ARS, ensuring the dependable functioning of Ukraine’s nuclear potential would have been significantly more challenging.
Bohdan Shmyhelskyi, Executive Director for Human Resources of JSC “NNEGC Energoatom”, congratulated the thousand-strong team of SS “Atomremontservice,” who work conscientiously and effectively every day to ensure the stable operation of Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
Addressing the employees, he conveyed sincere greetings and words of appreciation from the head of NNEGC “Energoatom,” Pavlo Kovtonyuk, emphasizing the affiliate’s substantial contribution to strengthening the state’s energy security, as well as the professionalism and dedication of its personnel.
“ARS specialists are true experts in handling non-standard, non-routine, and highly complex tasks. They overcome any challenge quickly and professionally. Thanks to Atomremontservice, Energoatom demonstrates self-sufficiency – a critical advantage in the face of military challenges,” he noted.
Hryhorii Suprun, the affiliate head, expressed gratitude to the team for their high professionalism, resilience, and mutual trust. Over the past 25 years, ARS has achieved numerous milestones that would have been impossible without the coordinated efforts of every specialist.
“Ukraine is going through difficult times, yet we continue to move forward and pursue ambitious plans. Responsibility and integrity remain the cornerstones of our work. I am proud that our team fulfills its mission with excellence and is always ready to lend support,” said Director of SS “Atomremontservice.”
The enterprise operates unique equipment, including the multi-purpose US-3000R machine manufactured by the French company Protem – one of only five units of this type available worldwide. ARS specialists use this equipment to perform a full range of milling, turning, welding, drilling, and grinding operations on the main joints of VVER-1000 reactors. Similar high-tech solutions are also applied during maintenance work on steam generators.
On the occasion of the company’s 25th anniversary, the management of NNEGC “Energoatom” and SS “Atomremontservice” presented honorary awards to distinguished employees.
