Energoatom participates in the International Workers' Sports Festival in Bulgaria

Energoatom's corporate team has arrived in Bulgaria to participate in the 17th International Workers' Sports Festival, which will take place from 23 to 27 June in St. Constantine and Helena complex, one of the oldest in Bulgaria famous seaside climatic resort. It is located on the Black Sea coast, 6 km northeast of Varna.

With the support of the Atomic Trade Union, the NNEGC sports delegation included 44 representatives of the Company – from all four Ukrainian nuclear power plants: Zaporizhzhia, Rivne, Khmelnytsky and South-Ukraine.

As a reminder, a while ago, on June 7, 2021, athlete Victoria Tkachuk, a representative of the Netishyn children's and youth sports school from the KhNPP satellite city, won a ticket to the Olympics in Tokyo, where she will represent Ukraine in a month. The athlete reached the Olympic norm in track at the Josef Odložil Memorial in Prague.

On the same day, Lyudmyla Babak, a trainee of the Zaporizhzhya NPP sports complex, who is among the top 10 canoeists in the world, captured the honorary «bronze» of the European Canoeing Championships in Poznan, Poland.
