Ukrainian NPPs’ electricity daily production rate is at a 10-year high
On March 10, domestic NPPs generated 273.03 million kWh of electricity, which is a 10-year high of nuclear power plants' daily production.
The last time Energoatom closed in on such a daily rate - 272 million kWh - on March 10, 2012. Besides, since 2011, the electricity daily production has exceeded the mark of 250 million kWh only a few times.
As of March 11, 11 out of 15 power units of Ukrainian nuclear power plants are in operation. ZNPP power unit 1, RNPP power unit 2, and SUNPP power unit 3 are in the outage. The NNEGC Energoatom’s available capacity is 11,425 MW, which is a 10-year high as well.
It bears reminding that as of this March Energoatom sold 3.56 million MWh of electricity to the SE «Guaranteed Buyer», that will meet the Ukrainian population's needs in full.
