Among the 190 world countries, Ukraine participates in the World Expo-2020, being held in Dubai (UAE) under the general theme «Connecting the minds, Creating the future», and Energoatom is represented in Ukrainian pavilion as well.

Due to pandemic restrictions, the exhibition was postponed, therefore its grand opening took place only now, in early October 2021. The Ukrainian delegation included Energoatom as Chief Advisor to the President of the Company Oleksandr Motsyk and Director for International Cooperation Taras Tokarskyy.

On October 4, during the Ukrainian and Emirates business forum devoted to power industry and innovation, Mr. Motsyk presented Energoatom through Clean Nuclear Energy for Sustainable Development and highlighted the Company's role in decarbonizing the national economy. He noted that the National Low Carbon Development Strategy and the Energy Strategy of Ukraine until 2035 identify the nuclear power industry as one of the most cost-effective and efficient low-carbon energy sources.

Likewise, Energoatom’s representatives visited the Wetex Dubai Solar Show, hosted by the Dubai authorities, which is a perfect platform to display the latest technological advancements and discuss the latest trends related to energy, water conservation, saving natural resources and building a sustainable environment. At this event, local and international companies and organizations have the opportunity to share experiences, showcase their products and services and share best practices and experiences with exhibitors from around the world.

During the bilateral meetings, Energoatom’s representatives acquainted the exponents with key investment projects in the nuclear industry of Ukraine, in particular, the renewal of the national nuclear fleet supported by international partners.
